Governing Board Members

The CFSD Governing Board consists of five members who are elected for four-year terms. The superintendent - the chief executive officer of the district - is responsible for carrying out board objectives on such matters as policy, budget, staffing, and curriculum. The superintendent is also principal advisor to the board regarding educational matters, preparing and recommending budgets, employing staff (subject to board approval), administering school facilities, services and programs, recommending boundaries, and implementing rules and procedures consistent with board policy. 
 

 

NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF CATALINA FOOTHILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 16 GOVERNING BOARD OF PIMA COUNTY

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02(F), notice is hereby given to the members of the Governing Board of the Catalina Foothills School District and to the general public that the Catalina Foothills School District will hold regular meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.  Exceptions to this for calendar year 2026 are: March - 1st meeting (March 10) will move to March 3 and 2nd meeting (March 24) will move to March 17 due to Spring Break.  April – 1st meeting (April 14) will move to April 7 and 2nd meeting (April 28) will move to April 21.  July – there are no regular meetings scheduled for July.  November – 2nd meeting (November 24) will move to Monday, November 23 due to Thanksgiving Break.  December has only one meeting on December 8 due to Winter Break.  Beginning August 11, 2026, meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. in the Carole Siegler Boardroom located at Valley View Early Learning Center, 3435 East Sunrise Drive.  A copy of the agenda for the meetings will be available at the Office of the Superintendent, 2101 East River Road, Tucson, Arizona, and on the Catalina Foothills School District Website, www.cfsd16.org, at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting.

Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Carole Siegler Boardroom located at Valley View Early Learning Center, 3435 East Sunrise Drive

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the general public that the Catalina Foothills School District Governing Board will hold a regular meeting open to the public on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:30 PM.  Doors open to the public at 6:00 PM.   

 

Public Participation

The board invites community members to share their ideas during the “Public Comments” at the beginning of each meeting’s agenda by following policy BEDH.  Click here to review the policy.

Anyone wishing to address the Governing Board is required to complete the Request to Address The Board form and submit it to the secretary to the Governing Board.
