Staying Connected, Launching Dreams

Julie Farbarik

Director, Community Relations

In Catalina Foothills School District, our alumni remain an essential part of our community. From their first day in a CFSD classroom to their accomplishments beyond graduation, we are proud to celebrate the journeys of our graduates as they pursue their dreams and contribute to the world in meaningful ways. By fostering connections, sharing achievements, and bringing them back into our classrooms, we strengthen our community and highlight the powerful impact of a world-class public education in Tucson.

Alumni returns to speak to students

“Being a Foothills grad definitely influenced how I teach. When I was at Foothills, I always felt like it was a welcoming and inclusive community,” Manzanita first grade teacher Melissa Landau said.

A Guinness World Record, a NASCAR Cup Series Championship, and a dozen years as a key piece on pit road for Foothills grad John Gianninoto. Through it all, he’s kept a strong focus on family, a value that’s been with him since his days at Catalina Foothills High School and continues to drive him.
