The sound of steel drums is taking over CFHS this Friday!

Tucson Field of Steel returns to the Catalina Foothills High School gym on April 10 at 7 p.m., featuring guest artist Dr. Josanne Francis, a steel pan virtuoso from the University of Maryland and a native of Trinidad.

Seven bands will hit the stage, including our own CF Falcon Steel & Blue Steel, alongside Arizona School for the Arts, Steelin' the Night Away, Rhythm Is Life Steel Band, Raven Steel from Empire High School, Tucson High Jovert and Intermediate, and the University of Arizona Steelcats.

Dr. Francis will also present a workshop on the history and culture of Trinidad at 1 p.m. in the CFHS Auditorium.

Tickets are $10 at the door. This is one of Tucson's most unique live music events, and you don't want to miss it!
