Student Registration Information

2018-2019 Online Registration

Welcome to the Catalina Foothills School District! We are delighted that you will be joining our community of learners. We know you have many educational options and we appreciate your decision to be with us!

For Open Enrollment Families

Current Open Enrollment families and New Open Enrollment families may not register students until they have applied for and have been accepted through our Open Enrollment Program. You will be notified by the Superintendent if a student has been accepted to a CFSD school through the Open Enrollment Program, and you will receive instructions about registering your student(s).

Families who live within the district boundaries, but want to enroll a student(s) at a different school outside their attendance area must apply for Open Enrollment.

For Resident Families

Resident families who have continuing and/or new-to-district students for the 2018-2019 school year will use Online Registration to register students for school.

Online Registration is now available to register your child(ren) for school. We respectfully request that you complete the registration process for your child(ren) as soon as possible to ensure that the district has accurate enrollment numbers to plan for teachers for the next school year.

General Online Registration Information

Parents/guardians can register continuing and/or new students, submit information electronically, and upload selected documents directly to the district. The system saves student data so parents/guardians can exit before the registration is complete and pick up later where they left off. Family registration connects students and parents so there is no need to re-enter shared information (e.g., address) for multiple children.

Only one parent/guardian should complete the registration process for each student in order to avoid duplication or errors.

Documents Needed for Registration:

  • Child's birth certificate - for all new kindergarten and new-to-district students
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of residency (e.g., current utility bill, contract on house, lease agreement) - for kindergarten and new-to-district students
  • Records from previous school(s) that will be helpful for class placement (e.g., report cards, test scores, gifted education placement scores, special education records - IEP and MEP, etc.)

Returning Families:If your child(ren) has/has ever attended CFSD, you have a ParentVUE account. Please use your existing ParentVUE account for Online Registration. DO NOT create a new account. Please contact your school if you need any help with ParentVUE account information.

New-to-District Resident Families: Follow the instructions to create a new account.

If you do not have access to a computer or the Internet, your child’s school will provide you with a computer during regular school hours to complete the online registration process.
