Dear Students and Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Ventana Vista Elementary School! As our school motto states, we are a “Kaleidoscope of Strengths.” We recognize and celebrate the differences that each individual student, staff member, family member, and community member brings to our campus. By working together we can create a beautiful mosaic and accomplish our mission.

Always driven by student needs, we offer students an exceptional, comprehensive educational program. It includes rigorous curriculum standards, a variety of differentiated learning structures, integrated units of instruction, research and technology applications, hands-on investigations in math and science, Spanish language instruction, as well as a rotation schedule to provide a more in-depth, continuous study of art, music, and physical education.

In addition, Ventana Vista offers a multitude of opportunities for our community to come together in celebration of learning and to create lasting memories. Among these opportunities: School-Wide Assemblies, Family Library Nights, Star Parties, Art Shows, and Musical Performances.

Ventana Vista Elementary School is located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains. We opened our doors in 1994 and currently serve approximately 430 students. The unique design of our school incorporates innovative features such as a kaleidoscope, solstice wall, and periscope to challenge students to look at the world in different ways. The school creates a community of children whereby each student “belongs” to this community and resides in his or her own grade level village.
