Sunrise Drive Elementary School is a safe and caring learning community committed to the development of the whole child. Our mission is to guarantee that each student achieves academic and personal excellence, becomes a lifelong learner and is a responsible citizen of the world, by engaging all students in meaningful programs which meet the highest educational and ethical standards within a caring, collaborative learning community.

Information

The Arizona Department of Education annually calculates Achievement Profiles for schools in Arizona. The Achievement Profile labels schools based upon an average of their performance over time on the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) in reading, mathematics, and writing. Additionally, points are given for the percentage of students who made adequate yearly progress on the AIMS and the Stanford 9. At the high school level, additional indicators for graduation rate and dropout rate have been established.
