Esperero Canyon Weather Station Esperero Canyon received a generous donation of a Wireless Weather Station from a local community member, Mr. Bill Moore and the FFO, in 2009 - 2010 school year. This wireless stations is located on the south side of the school property and measures temperature, wind speed and direction, rain fall levels, barometric pressure, dew point and humidity. This data is transmitted to a computer in the science wing and the data is displayed on an LED weather monitoring station. This information is also displayed below.

All science students have access to the weather data, while the 6th grade student’s specifically study the system as a part of the Weather and Climate curriculum. In addition, students prepare weekly weather reports for the morning announcements.
