The priority of preparing students to meet the challenges of
the 21st century continues through the summer with
a wide array of activities, classes and camps.
Community Schools programs allow students to develop
new skills for achieving success in the classroom and in life.

The summer program takes place primarily at Catalina Foothills
High School for children who will be entering kindergarten through
students who will complete eleventh grade. Our program at
Catalina Foothills Valley View Early Learning Center will include preschool-aged students and children who will be entering
kindergarten in the fall.

MUSICAL THEATRE REGISTRATION: MARCH 17 at 5pm.
This summer's production is "FAME-The Musical".

Weekly camp options will also be available.
There are no classes on Friday, June 25 and Friday, July 23; however, optional field trips will be available.
  • EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: 5% if you register by May 3,2010.
  • Late registrations are subject to a $10 late fee.
  • You will be notified only if a class is filled or canceled.
  • Changes to your schedule must be made in person. No changes will be permitted once the session begins.

1. On-line: You will need a Community Schools ID and passcode for each student to access on-line registration. Call 209-7551 or email to cs@cfsd16.org to receive this information.

2. In person: Catalina Foothills High School, 4300 E. Sunrise Dr. Saturday, March 20 in the CFHS Cafeteria, 8:30am-12pm.
Community Schools main office, 2101 E River Rd. beginning Monday, March 22 from 8am-4:30pm.
Beginning June 1 between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday in House 3.

3. By mail: Community Schools 2101 E River Rd. Tucson, AZ 85718. Registrations received before March 20 will not be processed until Monday, March 22.

Camp Monsoon at Sunrise Drive School for Grades K-5
Join us this summer in Camp Monsoon! Campers will participate in choice- based activities built around weekly themes. Every day at Camp Monsoon will include ample time for games, sports, reading, playground time and enjoying the "R & R" of summer. A field trip will highlight each week. Build lasting friendships and treasured summer memories at Camp Monsoon! Transportation (at an additional cost) will be provided from Catalina Foothills High School (both ways). Optional transportation fee: $5 (one-way, please indicate which way) or $10 (round trip) per week.

Tucson Teen Ambassadors
How well do you know Tucson? Join this group and increase your knowledge of our beautiful region of the southwest. Volunteer around town, make community connections and discover hidden gems while creating positive changes in your life. Undertake service projects to include helping animals, visiting the elderly, helping the needy and more! Bring a sack lunch and plenty of water. Each session will be a different experience. Sign up for all four sessions and be a Tucson Teen Ambassador!
