It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to our school website! The purpose of this site is to keep you informed of the important events and programs happening at Canyon View

Because research shows that the support, dedication, and enthusiasm of parents are integral reasons for student success, parent involvement in the education process is valued and welcomed.

You can actively participate by:

• talking to your child each day about his/her school experience.
• reading and responding in a timely manner to information that is sent home from school.
• attending parent conferences, grade level curriculum overview nights, open houses, and other school events.
• providing appropriate homework support to your child.
• sending your child to school every day well rested, well nourished, and prepared for school.
• volunteering to help out in your child's classroom, in the library, and/or on field trips and other events.
• attending Family Faculty Organization (F.F.O.) meetings.

The entire staff at Canyon View is committed to providing a safe and caring learning place for all our students. We strive to continuously improve our educational programs so that each student's learning experiences are relevant and meaningful.
