Catalina Foothills High School National Merit Finalists

The National Merit Scholarship Program announced finalists in its 2008 competition for its scholarships. Congratulations to our 12 finalists: Vaishnav Aradhyula, Stephen Brown, Alice Cai, Kathryn Cunningham, Veronica Haakonsen, Jessica Hung, Justin Ludlow, Sangwon Moon, Thomas Myers, Michael Nelson, Aileen Palmer, and Mary Wang.

All CFSD Schools Labeled EXCELLING for 5th Consecutive Year

The Arizona Department of Education just announced that all Catalina Foothills School District schools were labeled Excelling for the fifth consecutive year. The state's definition of excelling is "A school that demonstrates optimal student performance." Our winning combination = highly competent, caring teachers supported by strong school principals in partnership with parents!
