By enrolling in a Career and Technical Education course or program, students learn the technical applications of many occupations while preparing for post-secondary education or entry-level employment. Articulation and dual enrollment agreements allow students to take certain Career and Technical Education classes in high school and receive credit at Pima Community College and/or other institutions of higher education.

All CTE/JTED programs and courses at Catalina Foothills High School are offered as Pima County JTED satellite classes Joint Technological School District (JTED). Pima County JTED is a public school district that serves students from eleven Pima County school districts and supports their attendance in JTED central programs: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Fire Sciences, & Cosmetology. Pima Community College (PCC) offers selected classes that are JTED supported for students pursing career tracks not offered at their home school.

For additional information about CTE/JTED in the Catalina Foothills School District, please contact Tejal Patel via email at or by phone at
