Governing Board Members

The CFSD Governing Board consists of five members who are elected for four-year terms. The superintendent - the chief executive officer of the district - is responsible for carrying out board objectives on such matters as policy, budget, staffing, and curriculum. The superintendent is also principal advisor to the board regarding educational matters, preparing and recommending budgets, employing staff (subject to board approval), administering school facilities, services and programs, recommending boundaries, and implementing rules and procedures consistent with board policy.

Read The Boarder - the Governing Board newsletter - for the latest news.

Exceptions to this for calendar year 2017 are May - Thursday, 5-25-17 due to middle school promotion; July – there are no regular meetings scheduled for July; and December – 2nd Tuesday only (12/12/17).
