The mission of Catalina Foothills Community Schools is to unite the schools and community by:
• providing education and services that meet the needs and interests of learners of all ages
• developing partnerships for sharing resources
• building a sense of community through positive community relationships
Community Schools is unique in CFSD because it is the catalyst for developing relationships between the community and the schools. It is the catalyst for facilitating programs that meet the needs of students, families, and community members beyond the regular school day. It promotes the positive connectedness of students and community members to their schools.
People care about the community in which they live, and Community Schools works to turn that caring to sharing-of resources, of skills, of time, and of dreams.
